Gimel – Third Year – Tuesday (Kerman)

9/8: Today in class, we worked on:

1. Dear Gimmel Parents,  Today was our Hebrew session. We studied or discussed:
2. We enjoyed an all-school assembly with Rabbi Prass.  The students were very curious about the sanctuary remodel.
3. Reviewing the Hebrew Alphabet
4. Worked with some of our Flashcards
5. Began using our Gimmel Hebrew Text
6. Played Jewish / Holiday Trivia
7. It was great to meet the parents and explain the curriculum and the year-in-review.
8. Aleph – daled enjoyed participating in the Hebrew thru Movement with us and learning about the class in the year in review and hearing the sound of the shofar for Elul.

Homework to be completed by next class:

1. Review the first 7 Hebrew Letters
2. Practice reading pg. 4 in our text and The Matching on page 5
